Malaysia my second home or MM2H is a program by Govt of Malaysia, to grant long term stay visa to eligible people form all around the world.

MM2H Program & MM2H Requirements

Below 50 years old (either single or married with spouse & dependants) 50 years old and above (either single or married with spouse and dependants)
Fixed Deposit of RM500,000.00 in liquid asset
AND
RM10,000 offshore income every month
Financial Proof of RM350,000.00 in liquid asset
OR
Proof of government approved pension funds of RM10,000/month
"**New applicants who have purchased properties worth at least RM1mil qualify to place a lower fixed deposit amount upon approval


Successful Applicants Requirements

Open FD account of RM300,000 or USD75,000.00 Open FD account of RM150,000 or USD40,000
OR
Show proof of government approved pension funds of RM10,000.00
Fr 2nd year, participants may withdraw up to RM150,000.00 for approved expenses Fr 2nd year, participants may withdraw up to RM50,000.00 for approved expenses from FD account
Maintain a minimum of RM150,000.00 from 2nd year onward Maintain a minimum of RM100,000.00 from 2nd year onward

MEETING THE FINANCIAL MM2H REQUIREMENTS
All successful applicants must open their fixed deposit account in a local bank in Malaysia.

MEDICAL REPORT
Medical Examination must be done upon arrival in Malaysia either at a local clinic or private hospital

MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY FOR MM2H PROGRAM
For applicant and dependants must possess a valid medical insurance coverage from any company insurance in Malaysia. However, exemptions may be given to participants who face difficulty in obtaining a medical insurance due to their age or medical condition.

SECURITY BOND
For applicants applying directly

PERSONAL BOND
Licensed companies are required to provide the personal bond for their clients who have been approved under the MM2H program.

TAXATION
All applicants are required to pay taxes for income generated within Malaysia. Income generated outside Malaysia is tax exempted.

RESTRICTIONS/DOING BUSINESS IN MALAYSIA
Participants are allowed to register a limited company under the Companies Commission Act (CCA) of Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965. Participants aged 50 years and above whom are eligible and experienced are allowed to apply for employment in sectors approved by the Government of Malaysia. Participants are also allowed to invest actively in Malaysia.

PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES
In addition, they should not participate in activities that can be considered as sensitive to the local people and a threat to the security of the country; for example in political activities, missionary activities and provocative or instigative activities.
